People often ask me about the costs associated with landing a sponsor or forging a media partnership. It's an elusive number, mainly because there are a lot of hidden costs associated with sales staffing. This handy infographic by DOMO takes some of the guess work out of what it costs to sustain a sales person. Despite its very male orientation, we also found it a useful guide for holiday gift giving for the sales person in your tribe.

In the b2b space, new data has emerged showing that the vast majority of buyers have already decided to buy by the time they reach the sales executive, which is calling their value into question.

Fascinating finding, Amy. It makes me wonder if the role of the sales person with become even more relational--less hunter, more gatherer.
