21st Century Cities: Houston on the Horizon

Over 600 business people turned out last week for a luncheon to hear about the RenGen. The Houston Arts Alliance and the Greater Houston Partnership collaborated on the event. Houston is a remarkable city in many ways. Ed Mayberry from Houston Public Radio covered the event. To hear a :30 audio snapshot of what I mean about Houston's potential, or if you want to hear the voice that goes along with the Culture Scout blog, check out the interview here.

Am disappointed that I missed your talk in Houston - family life changes took me to Seattle a day before you spoke at the Hilton Americas. Delighted that you met with Houston Arts Alliance, like Discovery Green - and that you think banks will continue to step up to sponsor community art events. I enjoy your blog and have several of my own. Buying your book is on today's 'to do' list.

Thanks for your comment. Sorry you had to miss Houston, too. Let me know what you think of the book!
